Nicole C. Mather joined Zinkovetsky Law Firm in 2016.  Her practice focuses in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, corporate law, and civil litigation.  Ms. Mather regularly works with buyers and sellers of condos, coops, houses, townhouses and commercial properties; conducts complex lease and sublease negotiations for landlords and tenants; assists businesses with corporate transactions; and handles litigation cases for individuals and corporate clients.  She brings a variety of legal experience with her to Zinkovetsky Law Firm, having previously worked in the areas of civil litigation, criminal law, personal injury, family law, trusts and estate, and real estate law. 

Ms. Mather is a graduate of Fairfield University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology in 2008.   In 2011, she earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Albany Law School at Union University, where she was a Senior Editor for the Center for Judicial Process. 

Ms. Mather is a member of the New York Bar Association, the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.


Petro (Peter) Zinkovetsky, Esq.

Mr. Zinkovetsky is the founder of Zinkovetsky Law Firm.  He is an experienced business and real estate attorney who represents first time home buyers and international investors looking to purchase real estate in NY, small and midsize businesses, startups, and international companies setting up subsidiaries in the US.  Since the first day he started practicing law, a portion of Mr. Zinkovetsky's practice was dedicated to  representing dentists, medical doctors and other health care professionals with real estate transactions, business formation, and purchase and sale of health care practices. Mr. Zinkovetsky is often invited to participate in seminars and to teach continuing education courses on real estate related topics.  He was selected in 2015 and 2016 as a Rising Star by one of the industry’s most trusted publication Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters. While no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.

Because of the clients he represented and the transactions handled by the firm, Mr. Zinkovetsky has been featured in a number of publications including The New York Observer, Newsweek, The Real Deal, and Curbed.   An article written by him on commercial leases was published in the New York Real Estate Journal.  

Mr. Zinkovetsky holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance and Economics from Pace University, a Juris Doctor Degree from New York Law School, and is a graduate of the United Nations International School.
